Bush Live In Manila

February 19, 2012 - Big Dome. It was one of the typical concerts in the metro, not jam packed, just so-so.  We got our tickets for free (yeah, awesome thanks to atthewomb.com) and we were all set to unleash the fandom in us since early teens.

At exactly 8 o'clock, we heard Machine Head already playing! And we were still outside the arena standing in line. At first we thought that it was just the studio version playing, but when we peeped in, it was Bush already opening for Evanescence! We hassled the ushers to hurry up since we were already missing the first song.

Inside the Big Dome, it was obvious that most people went to see Evanescence, the hell we care anyway. We sang our heart out, jumped like crazy and screamed at the top of our lungs! It felt like I was 13 again, only this time, I was hearing them live. The memories kept flashing back: my old cassette tapes, daydreaming Gavin. I thought seeing them live was just a dream.

Gavin Rossdale
Gavin is one of the rockstars with unbelievable showmanship. He interacted well with the audience. The most unexpected part was he got off the stage and went to the crowd up around the arena while singing All My Life! It was so awesome, everyone was screaming even the Evanescence fans. He's the best, that was so brave of him to battle with raging fans! He fell twice and got a broken lip but he still manged to finish the song.

He passed by us, I was so thrilled! This was the first time I ever seen a frontman so close even if I was too far from the front row. Way to go, Gavin! He is the sweetest. After the show he tweeted their Manila fans back, nonstop. And I heard from one of the official photographers of the Meet and Greet how he was bummed out. He was expecting to spend a quality time with fans and get to know them better, have a lil chit chat and take lots of photos.

Wow, Gavin, you blew my mind!

Yay, finally met him!

Anyway, here are some more photos:
